Ayushmann Khurrana Joins Hand With UNICEF To Fight Against Child Sexual Abuse
Just like picking up good content for his films, Ayushmann Khurrana now wanted to be a part of the good initiative as well and hence, the Article 15 actor has been now roped in by UNICEF to fight against child sexual abuse, according to Latestly. Here, Ayushmann will make people aware of this protection and the legal support by the ministry and the key initiative of this ministry is the POCSO act. (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act) This act aims to offer protection against child sexual abuse.

Ayushmann said in a video that as a socially conscious citizen, he would always want to spread the word on matters that are important to our country and matters that need urgent attention. He also talked about POCSO being a hugely important step that is taken by the ministry to make people aware of the protection and legal support that the act offers against child sexual abuse.

He further added that crimes against children are the most heinous and he applauds the government and UNICEF's stand on protecting the future generations of our country.

Meanwhile, Ayushmann Khurrana is gearing up for his upcoming film Bala that is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 8, 2019, along with Sunny Singh’s Ujda Chaman. Talking about the ‘almost’ clash, the makers of Ujda Chaman are not happy with the makers of Bala as both the content of the film are quite similar and even some of the scenes are pretty similar to each other. Due to this, the producer of Ujda Chaman has filed a complaint against Bala’s makers. The complaint has reached the court, now both the parties are waiting for the final hearing.

Talking about Bala, the film is based on premature balding where a bald man is unable to find love due to lack of hair fall. The film also stars Yami Gautam, Bhumi Pednekar and Satish Kaushik in the lead roles.
